Dr Modupe Adedeji ( MBchB, FMCOG) is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University with over 15 years experience in medical practice in both the public and private sector. Dr Adedeji is skilled in clinical research, medical education and obstetrics and gynecological procedures.

After a brief role as a Medical Officer in 2007 at Apex Care Hospital, Ojota, Lagos State, Focused, disciplined and determined, Dr Modupe Adedeji moved to greater heights and quickly became a Registrar at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja ,  where she was involved in providing comprehensive out-patient and in-patient care; carrying out minor and major gynecological and obstetric procedures; maternal mortality and labour ward reviews and ward rounds. She also completed approved rotation in Radiology, General Surgery, Urology, Anesthesia, Pediatrics and Pathology.

Rising through the ranks, she doctor became a Senior Registrar in May 2011. In December 2014,  Modupe became a Chief Resident at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja and in October 2016, was made the Head/Consultant-in-Charge of the Gynecology Unit at  General Hospital, Orile-Agege. She assumed the same role at  General Hospital, Ifako-Ijaye in August 2018 where she supervised and held teaching sessions for medical officers in the management of obstetrics and gynecological patients.

Today, Dr Modupe is the Medical Director/Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at J.A. Lashman Hospital, a comfortable and serene environment that focuses on the care of women’s reproductive health from childhood to old age. The facility specializes in conditions such as infertility, fibroid, miscarriages, cervix carcinoma, endometrium as well as ovary and postmenopausal care. The hospital also offers antenatal, postnatal, contraception and family planning services.

Dr Modupe is also the Consultant-in-Charge of Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja where she supervises and trains resident doctors and house-officers in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Modupe has attended numerous training in her professional career She is a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Nigeria (SOGON) serving presently as Assistant General Secretary, Lagos Sector. She is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN), the Medical Guild and the Nigeria Medical Association.

An advocate for women’s health, Dr Modupe Adedeji has had several articles published and featured on various television, radio and online programmes relating to women’s health. She is a co-anchor on the “Ya Bodi” show on Eko FM.

She is married to Barrister Adewale Oluwamuyiwa Adedeji with two lovely children.
